Smokey Valley kit #73 is the B unit conversion kit you need it is listed at $10. There are non on the bay right now and most hobby shops list it as out of stock. Maybe Smokey Valley themselves has one. You will also need a hi nose kit which Hi tech has and Smokey Valley has one #72 I think.

this guy did a B unit for SP looks pretty good to it is a B36-7 but you can use it as a starting point.

Are you thinking of a specific prototype like the BN B30-7AB's? If so Big Dawg originals already makes a cast resin shell in two version for a reasonable cost.

Those were, in fact, B30-7A B units, not B23-7 B units. P&W's B's were ex-BN. There is no such prototype as a B23-7 B.

That is, if you're ok with piracy.

This is the shell you need, as that is a ex-BN B30-7AB early version.
