Rio Grande Work Train

I saw this work train tied down in the Ironton yards, just south of Provo. Looks like the Grande is going to do some serious track work this summer.

I'd love to model a 1970's D&RGW work train, but most of the cars shown in Rio Grande Color Guide were ex-troop transport cars so it will take some doing to locate some of those Walthers OOP cars and do it up right!  Jim Eagers Color Guide also shows a work car made from a flat car with a contractor trailer mounted to it, another interesting project!
