Model Railroading > New backdrop & expansion

I am finally getting around to expanding my old "apartment configuration" layout of BN's Woodinville Sub. I've built a small room that will allow me to make it a modest around the walls shelf layout.First order of business was to do away with the old lame looking backdrop.
Not bad if I do say so myself. The first photo shows the old backdrop and loop configuration. The rest of the photos show the new backdrop I painted and the beginnings of the around the room configuration.

The taller back drop looks better; IMO taller is good even all theway to the ceiling.

This is about 8 inches taller than the previous one. Tall enough to work without cropping for photos.
​I decided to not go higher as I wanted to display stuff above the sky (photos, display case, ect)

The shallow relief building look pretty good....not as deep as some...not as thin as others....nicely done.

Where did you get the little logo plaques that are above your old backdrop?

I think I got them at a local hobby shop. Wish I could be more specific, but it was years ago.

Schrader's usually has plaques and stuff..maybe have a look at thier catalog...
