What's the going price for an Lionel Big Boy. I'm at an auction with three trailer loads of Lionel. $20 for 3 cars seems the going price for the cars so far.

8 car UP passenger train for $250

Big Boy went for $450

Well I may not have been a Lionel collector but I had a price in my head for things that interested me and I bid on a few things. I didn't plan on spending much so I let a lot of things go by for really good prices. There were three people who ended up with most of the collection. Most cars were going for $5-10 each in lots of 3 to 6 cars at a time and were mostly brand new and all had boxes. Ended up getting the 8 UP cars for $250. These cars had never been opened before. Missed two UP E units that went with the cars for $250, I stopped at $210.
I did get a Rio Grande SD50 for $80 also brand new.

Kicking myself for not buying the following items: box of Pentrex DVDs for $1. 3 large boxes of track for $10. New Lionel Monopoly 4-6-4 steam engine for $100
