Model Railroading > Cheyenne cancellationsDate: 05/19/17 08:36 Cheyenne cancellations Author: Bob3985 This weekend is our Sherman Hill Model Railroad Club annual train show in conjunction with Depot Days. The Sherman Hill show is still on with temperatures rising Saturday and Sunday.
The UP Steam shop has cancelled all tours due to conditions in the yard with the weather. The UP locomotive simulator had to cancel due to road conditions and closures between Salt Lake and Cheyenne. However, our show is on and the vendors are unloading even as I type this. We still plan to run the Lions Club mini train with the weather improving all weekend. I checked the Depot Days website, https://www.cheyennedepotmuseum.org/depot-days, and they now say, "Hopefully there will be access to the shop on Sunday."
