Blue Foam Mountains - Part 4

Another month, another peak! Time for another photo update on the mountain making at the California Southern Model RR Club in Norwalk, CA.

See last month's thread below for earlier pics and details as to how the scenes are being built.

Hey don't forget that the California Southern spring open house is THIS WEEKEND. Saturday May 20Th 10am to 7pm, Sunday May 21st 12 O'clock High till 6pm and Tuesday Evening May 23rd 7pm till 9pm.
We are located at 12140 Firestone Blvd. in Norwalk, Ca. That's one block East of San Antonio Dr. on Firestone Blvd on the corner of Clarkdale st. next to world famous (that's what they say) Norwalk Records.

Icewind Dale strikes again! From the green lightly vegetated lands to the frozen blue ice mountains of the north! All you need are a few polar bears and a Yeti! Impressive frozen blue ice! =P

Used to hold foam pieces in place while the glue sets when the size, shape, or position of the piece does not allow a weight to be used.

Icewind Dale - I wonder how many other people on here understand that reference.

Actually we are inspired by the Disneyland Railroad trip through the primeval world.  We were going to do the same, but couldn't justify a swamp on the top of a mountain, so we decided to model the last ice age instead...

Yes, cool Bioware Infinity Engine game - dungeon crawl - a classic in my book! The Severed Hand was one of my favorite levels.

I wish I could come to the open house but can't make it this year.
