You might try Walther's. I bought a P2K SD45 at a swap meet really cheap well it did not run very well and in disassembly one of the tower gears was in pieces. I wrote to Walther's and they actually had the gear sure it cost more to ship than buy but I had a BN SD45 that ran great for very little money. I would guess that the parts supply will be very limited but it never hurts to check.

Walthers does not have the side frames or complete trucks in stock.

I switched all my p2k sd45 related projects over to Athearn sd38/40/45 chassis, so I had a bunch of p2k sd45 chassis at one time, I went through my stuff thinking I might still have some but no luck I must have sold them all off....Joe

Thanks Joe. Did you use the P2K body on the Athearn chassis?

Yes I did, that gave me better truck side frames made from styrene and more side frame options, better fuel tank, readily available replacement parts etc etc..........Joe

Were these frames ready run, genesis or blue box?

RTR, I was using the P2K chassis on these projects and was content but when the Athearn RTR SD40/38/45 came out and was very available, the wheels started turning in my head as to the advantages of the switch. Some machining is needed, I did quite a few for myself and others.........Joe
