Model Railroading > Hide the helixDate: 08/24/17 13:59 Hide the helix Author: santafedan I am doing scenery for a fellow modeler. He had a requirement that he wanted to be able to stand in the helix. Here is the progress so far.

http://rvmrc.net/ The Rogue Valley Model Railroad Club has a couple fire towers on their HO layout. The closest one is N Scale, the far one is Z Scale. Larry Date: 08/24/17 15:00 Re: Hide the helix Author: Jeff_Johnston Really nice looking, and a seemingly effective solution given the owners' requirement. I have my own helix to "hide" and your post helps nudge some ideas along. Thank you!

I feel if you have a helix it should be part of the overall scenery. I adjusted the scenery so the trains passed on the double tracked helix outside the helix. |
