So, I'll bite. What else do you run on this sweet outdoor layout? Very, very nice work on the motor car. What size motor(s) does it use?

Well, here is an SD-9 that I recently completed ...

Check out the video too. We dubbed some prototype sounds into it.

Here's a Baldwin AS-616 along with a photo showing how the traction motors are arranged.

For the SD9 I used Ford power seat motors mounted vertically on the axles. I used commercial trucks on the gas-electric with modified axles and wheels.
