Author: retcsxcfm They have operating sessions,in daylight as well as night.
This railroad is on "top" of a ridge that runs through central Florida.A big hill to us,maybe 300' above sea level. The view of orange trees is just beautiful. Uncle Joe 50 miles west Date: 10/16/17 12:33 Re: Ridge Live Steam Railroad,Dundee,Fl. Author: CPRR Nice, but as a 1 inch live steamer, I am so surprised there are not more 3 rail tracks around the country to accommodate the smaller live seamers. You would get more interest from newbies if they could afford a train....

I guess it's just become a generic term to describe sit on trains outdoors . Regards,DK Date: 10/17/17 08:36 Re: Ridge Live Steam Railroad,Dundee,Fl. Author: BAB CPRR Wrote:

Takes a lot just to put two on the ground without switches and such. Many that had the third rail removed it because of lack of use. Date: 10/17/17 08:39 Re: Ridge Live Steam Railroad,Dundee,Fl. By the way look at those buildings, great job to ever who built and maintains them Wow. They add much to a railroad but the amount of work to keep them up take hours for someone to do. |
