Here is a prototype car this way. It is a Dakota Valley and Western slag (ballast) hopper #74. It has been sitting here forever. The location is Daleview, Montana. This is an ex-CN car. Author: fbe One way to represent this lettering is to use white out typewriter correction strips with a toothpick to write with then seal it with dull coat. Finding the white out strips in this day and age will be a challenge. The strips were also an easy way to apply the old car routing and graffiti markings.
