Model Railroading > Model Railroading on a BudgetDate: 12/10/17 00:51 Model Railroading on a Budget Author: Larry020 I heard this one straight from the Chef / Cashiers' mouth. A nearby model train club was hosting a swap meet. They were also running a BBQ and selling hotdogs to help raise more money.
A guy walks up and asks "How much for the condiments?" Of course the answer was "What?" After the guy asked the same question again, he received the answer that he was hoping to hear, "The condiments are free." He then pulled a hotdog out of his pocket and put those free condiments on it, and then walked away. I now wonder if he spent that saved money well. ʎɹɹɐl Date: 12/10/17 07:32 Re: Model Railroading on a Budget Author: SPDRGWfan Did he squeak as he walked?

If a 2 cent squirt of mustard made him happy it was a win for the swap meet organizers. Date: 12/10/17 11:28 Re: Model Railroading on a Budget Author: cabman Some model railroaders are so cheap, they wouldn't even get this joke!

Of course, they stopped at the Taco Bell first, stuffed all of it in their jacket pockets and walked right in the theatre... and got additional condiments there.

Movie theaters charge highway robbery prices for the snacks - I've read they make their money off the snacks and not the tickets. |
