Model Railroading > Scaletrain UP Tier 4Date: 12/12/17 15:04 Scaletrain UP Tier 4 Author: kecarden Been working on a Scaletrains Tier 4 Union Pacific, took the unit apart and painted the interior to the correct color, added additional led's lighting which consist of lighting up the console, cab light, number boards, walkway lights, ground and step lights. Re-did the ditchlights and front headlights and installed Loksound Decoder. Did some light weathering on the carbody and weathering on the trucks. Will post a video soon.

Date: 12/12/17 17:34 Re: Scaletrain UP Tier 4 Author: tomstp The computer lights are great. Would suggest the step lights be reduced in voltage.

Can some mad genius come up with a micro relay that pushes the piston out whenever the locomotive comes to a stop? Put away the flame throwers, it's a joke. Other than that this is the best I have seen..... Thanks for sharing. Seriously, very impressive! Mr. MRL Date: 12/13/17 05:02 Re: Scaletrain UP Tier 4 Author: RGDave VERY impressive, the amount of wiring this takes is incredible. Well done!

Date: 12/13/17 11:27 Re: Scaletrain UP Tier 4 Author: Casselton I echo everyone's comments. Very impressive work. Could you please post some photos to show how you lit up the console?
Thanks - Mark Casselton Houston, TX Date: 12/13/17 11:30 Re: Scaletrain UP Tier 4 Author: MachTuck Love the dark wash on this model! It really makes details pop and I'm surprised more MRR modelers don't do this. Very nice looking model
