Model Railroading > SCL on the GEHAMS LayoutDate: 03/14/18 10:43 SCL on the GEHAMS Layout Author: smitty315 I finally got my Atlas U36B's and took them for a test run on the GEHAMS layout in Bakersfield, CA with the 1776 bicentennial in the lead. Horn and bell sound amazing. I need to play around with the mixer on the prime mover as the higher frequencies are dominating the sound too much for my taste. The train is 5 U36B's pulling about 36 cars that belong to the club.
Photo 1 - Pulling into Summit Photo 2 - The top of Canyon, more affectionately known as the "Spaghetti Bowl" Photo 3 - My train crossing over itself at Canyon. There was a truss here but another member derailed and took it out. We are in the process of getting it fixed because as of right now it's not very prototypical.
