Model Railroading > The Soon to be Released HO Proto SD9Date: 04/13/18 13:45 The Soon to be Released HO Proto SD9 Author: Larry020 Deep Throat tells me
Just want too give you the heads up on those proto sd9es coming out, that light package is going to be odd looking like the gp35 because they are lighting the emergency red Gyra lights. I responded with Too bad they are sacrificing detail accuracy to light up something that was rarely (prototypically) lit anyways. ⅂ɐɹɹʎ Date: 04/13/18 13:51 Re: The Soon to be Released HO Proto SD9 Author: SPDRGWfan Does deep throat have any thing to day about the upcoming SW1200s?

Yes, but not in the regard that the red emergency light protrudes above the roofline, which has an impact in how they are illuminated on a model. Date: 04/14/18 16:42 Re: The Soon to be Released HO Proto SD9 Author: navarch2 Perhaps it is due to the Rapido model coming out before theirs, and the amount they raised the bar as to detail. It is a smart move on their part.
