Date: 05/14/18 16:57 Re: KATO Japan Author: fbe The drawbar is designed with a pin on one side and a cup on the other side fit together to prevent the knuckles from slipping by vertically. This provides telescoping protection in the center of the car. The anti climber castings provide additional protections on the outer sections of the ends.
All is OK. joemvcnj Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Surprised the carbody cuts away the anticlimber, > which is there to prevent telescoping in a > collision, for the coupler. The factories are located about 26 miles to the NW in Saitama Prefecture. According to the map, the two factories are about 1.25 mile apart. That's why I was there. Here are some photos that I took. Hiroshi Date: 05/15/18 18:01 Re: KATO Japan Author: Chad Brings back memories. Took the family to Japan in 2016 and of course I insisted on a trip to Kato. Lot's of stuff inside and some really nice layouts. Lots of N scale, items you can not get in the US. My daughter bought me an EL SD45. It's a great place and fun to get to if you are ever in Tokyo. Thanks for posting.

Then I googled it. ʎɹɹɐ˥ Date: 05/16/18 01:32 Re: KATO Japan Author: Hiroshi Date: 05/17/18 00:23 Re: KATO Japan Author: Hiroshi Date: 05/18/18 04:55 Re: KATO Japan Author: Hiroshi Date: 05/19/18 01:09 Re: KATO Japan Author: Hiroshi Date: 05/19/18 16:31 Re: KATO Japan Author: Q-GP30 Now that they made a E60CP, how about a P30CH diesel. IIRC someone had both for a short time years ago.
