Workday Wednesday Workers 5
Author: santafedan

Well, we all know you can't have a safe layout without protection.
The scarecrow is on a layout I am working on with a friend.
It is made from a Preiser set of unfinished figures. Some of them do not have arms. There are separate arms that can be glued in different positions. I cut off the feet and did not put arms on the figure. I drilled a hole through the body and put in a thin piece of sprue for the "arms". I used saw dust for the "hay" for the hands, feet and head.

I like the donut shop patrol. Too bad hats are all wrong for Barney Fife.

When I lived in Lemon Grove, California in 1974 there was a San Diego County Sheriff's substation in a strip-mall right next door to a Winchells Doughnut shop. They even had a connecting door.

Barney Fife wore a cap, not the wide brim trooper hat.

In the second picture-someone better tell the utility or railroad that string is not a good conductor of electricity.
