Model Railroading > Turning off beeps on DT300Date: 10/23/02 09:11 Turning off beeps on DT300 Author: reddogpt If anyone is like me and doesn\'t like the beeping sound the Digitrax DT300 makes when you increase the throttle, you can turn it off.
With the system on, unplug the throttle, press and hold "select" and plug the throttle back in. You will see the options menu come up. It should say the Option #1 value is 01. Turn the right hand knob clockwise to increase the value to 05. Now press "select" again. It will then display the value for Option #2. Do nothing now, and the throttle will eventually "time-out", displaying the normal run mode menu. Now the throttle will be silent!
