humming noise

I have an atlas rs1 with a factory installed esu select decoder.  Recently when I give power to accelerate the engine I can hear a humming noise (a noise like transformer has)   Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?

Possibly the sound is to high for the speaker, try lowering the sound a bit

That is the normal ESU noise but most modellers don't notice it. A reason for me to avoid ESU where ever possible.
