Alco RS3 Windshield Wiper

Does anyone know the correct placement of the windshield wipers on an Alco RS3?

From photos I've looked at it would appear that the wiper was mounted as follows. Assuming werre talking about a long hood facing forward locomotive, engineers side wiper was on left of window halfway between top and bottom. On fireman's side on right. Would appear that windows above hood did not have wipers.

Go to railpiictures.net and search on RS3 and you'll see many, many photos.
