HO Three tab asphalt shingle advice
Author: Casselton

I am looking to finish an HO building with three tab asphalt shingles instead of tar paper.
I would appreciate recommendations and why you recommend using a particular brand.
Any advise, such as how you apply the shingles, would be helpful.
Thanks,
Mark

Perhaps this is a Photoshop project?

I've used the product from Rusty Stumps (https://www.rustystumps.com/) and been happy with the results.  They come in self-adhesive strips about five inches long in several colors.  The model I built is currently packed so I can't post any photos.  The next model I build, I'll be sure to mark some guide lines on the roof to keep my shingle lines straighter.

Any chance you could link to the product? I tried various search words on the Rusty Stumps website and came up short. No "shingles" "roofing" "asphalt" "shingle" (singular) "tarpaper" "adhesive" -- none that resulted in anything but structure kits or details.

Interesting products... but I'm also looking for shingle material. Thanks for any linkage!

Hmm, it appears the product line has been sold.  They're now here: https://www.rail-scale-models.com/HO-Three-Tab-Shingles
