Model Railroading > Longest "To Do item cleared"Date: 12/01/18 20:09 Longest "To Do item cleared" Author: calsubd My original Athearn SD70 CSXT 4685 "Spirit of Mulberry" has had a broken truck and been shelved for years, I had replaced a rear truck in a Athearn SD70 (EMD 7005) already , this week I did some horse trading a got a new non DCC SD70, Today was a rainy day here so with nothing else planned I swapped frame ,trucks and Motor ,, New motor was actually a upgrade from the original motor, Wheels were a upgrade too (not sintered) Hopefully the newer trucks will last longer.

Typically, though, my locomotive detailing projects run about a year each. This one is ALMOST done, might get it done today. Started these two in January, well before Rapido announced their B36-7 models. (I'll just have to buy more, then!)
