Model Railroading > Revenge of the section gang

Catzilla has been laying on the couch long enough for the local section gang to throw up a couple tool sheds on and around him.

Fortunately these are for the club layout at the Southern Alberta Model Railway Club, so the cat won't be able to get back at me. They're scratchbuilt from my own drawings based on official CPR plans for a no 3 tool house. Scale lumber and siding from Northeastern and Mt Albert, door and windows are from Tichy and the club stash. I used Campbell shingles on the roof, and colored most of the structure with Hunterline stains. All told I built 6 of them.

If you're close or close-ish to Lethbridge AB, come on by for our open house March 16 and 17 and see if you can spot them!

Nice modeling - looking at the cat's eyes you can imagine what he is thinking, and it is not printable!

That's not the cute cuddly purr you're hearing.

It's just waiting till you install them.  Then it will get its revenge!  Cats and model railroads do not mix well.

Depends on what scale you model in. O scale can stand up to a curious kitty!

Forgot to mention these are HO scale...and the cat will probably be gone (he's 12 years old later this year) by the time I get to building my home layout. These are bound for the club layout and as such are safe!
