Model Railroading > N Atlas Santa Fe dash 8 color corrected!

Hi all,

I\'ve almost finished fixing up this Atlas N scale loco that came with a slightly weird blue color :

While I was at it, I added freestanding handrails on the nose and cab roof, relocated the headlight to the nose, added some (crappy overheight) representations of cab top stuff, brakehoses etc and \'unpatched\' it back to SF 7447. The purpley blue was brush overpainted with Floquil? ATSF Blue as was the yellow, which was a little bright. I also painted the rubber gaskets around the front windows, which I might do to some more engines.

Still needs some headboard numbers and I might have a go at making some windscreen wipers too (also both for the C30-7 behind it!)

I was trying to get it looking like this one (not enought \'4\'s left on my decal sheet to do 7444!

Santa Fe, the way it was meant to be.
