Bakersfield Train Show Free-Mo
Author: jkchubbes

Last weekend was the Bakersfield Train Show where I participated in my first Free-Mo setup with my little 4ft work-in-progress Hinkle, OR AmShack module.  This was also the first time I was able to run any of my equipment and it all ran flawlessly even my custom AMTK 1127 baggage car built on a Train Station Products core kit with Union Station Products car sides.

1) Winter consist Coast Starlight on Shandin Loop

2) The Pioneer spotted at Hinkle

3) Close up of my 3d printed AmShack.

4) In a time warp the Coast Starlight is seen shoved to the bumpers on the Oakland Mole.

5) The Coast Starlight crossing a bridge on Piru.  Included in the consist is my custom AMTK 1127 baggage car, custom Walthers Pacific Parlour, early Superliner diner with plated windows and a Hearland Flyer coach that had escaped captive service.

Nice consist. All you need now is a Private Varnish (Virginia City) on the end. Amtrak trains always look better with a private car on the end.
