Test of NS 6920 and UP 1943
Author: bath_wildcat

Last Thursday I was able to test my NS 6920 and UP 1943.  Granted the layout is set in the 50's, I figured a demo of newer tech was in order.

First two are front and rear of UP 1943.  Talk about detailed-wow.

Third one is I lashed up UP 1943, UP 3300, and NS 6920 together.  Impressive consist I must say.

SO while testing I thought why not get creative, so I parked the consist near the Yardmaster office with UP 1943 leading out and NS 6920 leading in.

I parked the consist in the yard for this shot and the next shot is from track level showing UP 1943.

Over view yard picture. I had staged my three like that for a reason to make it look like they were coming out of the yard.

All three on a grade.  Took this just as a show off picture.

Then I went more creative to catch the nose of UP 1943 crossing the diamonds.  More creativity I know.

I then got the bright Idea to do something crazy-I staged both 6920 and 1943 on the two spur tracks near the Budweiser brewery.  It was quite impressive as a display to say the least.

The overview from high above, and track level.

NS 6920 had to go back to NS to haul some freight, so I left UP 1943 on display for craps and giggles. The second picture is at track level.  Cant go wrong with Budweiser and the American flag flying.

And lastly after hauling the freight, NS 6920 gets one last shakedown test run before shes taken to the yard.

All pictures taken on the Eerie, Mad River & Western Layout in Sandusky, Ohio as I am a member.

If you are looking at these pictures, and I am sure we all can agree to Support our Troops.  I challenge everyone here to raise one up for the troops fighting for the USA.
