Model Railroading > Branch line local freightDate: 05/21/19 20:30 Branch line local freight Author: bobdavis Attached is a pic of Pennsylvania RR local freight BM-11 working the industries in the imaginary town of Rockland, PA on my HO PRR Blue Mountain Division at last Saturday's bi-monthly operating ession. Power is GP7 8804, a Bachmann model. The load of wood chips and boxcar of lumber behind the cabin car were picked up earlier at the sawmill further down the rbranch. The chips are fine sawdust white-glued to a Bowser plastic coal load. A bit of the 11-track staging yard is visible below the branch. The railroad, set in 1956, has been operational since early 2008, and has been a lot of fun for me and our small group of operators.
