Moloco 50' RBL models arriving

USPS delivered my NP and NYC models today. These are outstanding looking models for operators from the mid 1960s on. Lots of fine lettering data.

The NP's have been sold out for about a month at Moloco and mbk. A few others might have them. I ordered an NP and NYC from Moloco - very nice models.

The Moloco web site has the best photos and pictures of the entire line have been posted on TO.

What is it about the NP and NYC combination which is so popular? That is what I chose and 2 others I know ordered the same. I suppose the midwest and east coast modelers are more likely to order the FGE cars.

Could simply be that they are not yellow or oxide red...

I'm patiently waiting for the offset Solid Gold cars in B&O, C&O...

Thanks guys for all your support and kind words.
It's always hard to predict the schemes that will do well or not. We are now taking reservations on are new upcoming cars, see our new announcement on trainorders.

You mean aside from the fact that they apparently intechanged with each other for traffic from the Northwest to the New York and Boston areasĀ  by way of CASO? Anecdotal evidence strongly suggests that.
