Sherman Hill Halloween

Last night we participated in the Cheyenne Frontier Mall Halloween event again. We had a mega train operating and set our trick or treat table up at our front door. All the stores participated as well. This year the weather was fairly nice out unlike last years cold snowy night so our trick or treater count was down. We had 2,998 this year compared to the over 3,500 last year but a good representation never the less. It did expose our model railroad to many who weren't aware of our presence in the mall and many indicated a return was in order. Along with candy we also handed out Operation Lifesaver materials as well because many of our members are qualified Operation Lifesaver presenters.
Now it is time to prep for the Christmas season and get the Polar Express ready to run.

You certainly have old members in your club! I'd think rerailing a car would be very hard for them!

I think it's more difficult for them to pull their wallets out...

Mom's on the left and she has the money. There were several Trex's in the mall on Halloween.
There were also some Minion's too.
