I Pre painted the molded parts for coaling tower kit nightmare.

Dear TOs,  I pulled out an old kit that at sometime i painted the parts, now gluing together is a nightmare. Kit is walthers coaling tower, any suggesting as to remedy the problem. Thanks Robert

Scrape away the paint in the area you want to glue.

Or do like most manufacturers of R-T-R models do, and use ACC.
