Night Moves
Author: railstiesballast

The Southwestern Pacific runs all night, but seldom gets photographed.
Here are three little test shots with my handheld i phone of an eastbound climbing up the canyon, along the river, and about to go into Tunnel 1.
About 1/4 of these images come out useful, but it is fun to play with these night moves.
My next attempt will be to use a tripod and my SLR set on a small opening....any suggestions?

Title reminds me of a song by Bob Seger.

Bob Seger, of course.  I knew the song but could not remember the artist.

Looks great!  Your idea with the SLR is a good one, looking forward to see the results.

Someday I will get to adding ground and step lights on all my locomotives.  In the mean time, though, running "at night" is still great and a different experience than running with the lights on!
