Another Genesis. Athearn screwed up on this Wabash F7 unit, in that it has the later "vertical slit" louvers (on the side of the carbody) instead of the standard louvers. (A couple of guys from the WRHS gave them the correct info, but they got it wrong.) Also, the single bell air horns should only be attached to the car body on one end. And, the white paint should have silver in it, if as delivered. But I'm getting too old to worry too much about those details anymore, though I could redecal the numbers, as they did have later phase units and modify the air horns, plus add the distinctive coil on top of the car body. Overall, Athearn produced some state-of-the-art F units. I also have a set of NYC F3s with the lightning stripe scheme that are pretty nice.

A little late to the game this week, I have been in Dallas attending to family matters Thursday-Sunday, just got back home.
There was a big train show in Dallas and I never even darkened the door there this weekend
