Model Railroading > Q: Any feedback on the TCS UWT-100 Universal Throttle?Date: 01/26/20 10:42 Q: Any feedback on the TCS UWT-100 Universal Throttle? Author: jsnoy Has anyone tried the new TCS Universal Throttle (UTW-100)? There several short YouTube videos of the product, but I want some user feedback before I consider buying one. Yes, I've used my iPhone, but I like the convenience of a thumbwheel, buttons and large screen display.

Some months ago TCS indicated their intention to ship their first UWT-100 units to clients who had made initial reservations - as if shipping was imminent back then. I think they asked for a deposit at that time and I decided to wait until I (we) got some feedback. Maybe they never shipped? When I saw their announcement about the cases arriving, that tweaked my renewed interest. I'm still gonna wait for feedback. I could become a client because I like the style especially the menu display. I wonder if anyone received an original order? The future of this hobby is WiFi throttles and Apps on smartphones. Proprietary Duplex will die a slow death thank g-d. Have one Digatrax one and do not like it or the way it operates too small a screen for these old eyes, times out very quick, also have to put it into the system and take it out. Not so with my NCE. Since the Digatrax one is for the club layout will see if they are going to support it. Boyd in Chiloquin where the snow is leaving.
