Model Railroading > Santa Fe RDCDate: 03/28/20 06:46 Santa Fe RDC Author: santafedan A post on the Nostalgia page prompted me go shoot a new set of photos of my RDCs. I am also experimenting with my depth of focus set up.
I made these Athaern RDCs about 40+ years ago, These were about the only ones around. I repainted them in the "after the wreck" scheme. It took a weekend to do. I even submitted an article to MR as a weekend project they were running in those days. They thought there would be no interest. Date: 03/28/20 08:29 Re: Santa Fe RDC Author: cabman I like the job you did on the red ends. I also had this set many moons ago, and if I recall, they ran via the awful rubber band drive. To slow them down, I installed Ernst gearing which really solved the problem....almost too much.
