Atlas Dash-8 -40B Lights

Hi Everyone,

Now that we have some time to model I'm trying to figure out how to fix the lights for a Santa Fe Dash 8-40B that goes on the nose.  Is there a manufacture out there that makes the correct housing?

I haven't modeled HO for years and don't know if anyone makes the headlight housings but, IIRC, ATSF had two styles of nose headlight housings/arrangements on these units. One was somewhat protruded off the nose and the other was recessed with a sort of box trim around the headlight. Which one are you trying to model?

I recall a Model Railroader article on these units from years ago, I think they were modeling the enclosed style if i can find it in the stack i'll mention what they recommended at the time.
