Complete with fabric dispenser and a very nice shoulder profile. And the panels are offset! Very slick.
Date: 08/17/20 02:35 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: NSyorktown I've been driving by there for years . . . in fact, went by there last Friday morning.
The contruction of the tunnel confused a lot of the locals, as it looked like a vegatable storage cellar (not a RR tunnel) as it was being built. And that project alone took years! I'll have to check out the progress next time I cruise down Noble Road onto St. Rt. 603. RDS Date: 08/17/20 07:24 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: King_Coal Totally cool! Looks like a lot of fun in store.
Date: 08/17/20 07:38 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: WrongWayMurphy We have a similar rig, we call it a roadbed former. Ours is on skids, not wheels, and
we pul ,ours with a green &yellow tractor, not a red one. Date: 08/17/20 09:58 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: tomstp Remember to allow for expansion of that aluminum rail at the joints.

Date: 08/17/20 19:47 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: engrbob What’s the gauge, What’s the train ?
Date: 08/18/20 17:33 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: PHall They didn't remove the sod before putting the roadbed? Isn't that going to cause stability problems as things decay and settle?
Date: 08/20/20 09:21 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: WrongWayMurphy Hope they compacted that roadbed. If not, though it looks great now, it will be like the
Six Flags Runaway Mine Train ride in a couple years. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/20/20 09:22 by WrongWayMurphy. Date: 08/20/20 13:04 Re: Building a New Outside Railroad Author: ChrisCampi WrongWayMurphy Wrote:
