Are you possibly thinking of Union Station Products? I noticed you mentioned the theatre car in the last post, but that kit is made by Union Station Products.

There's a few Train Station Products kits in my 'archives' but they must be from the 90's or so. They were making the ATSF Budd High-level passenger car line for a while. The transition dormitory car and the six axle diner were popular and were eventually produced by Intermountain as a finished kit, similar to the Red Caboose line for a while. I don't have any info on what happend since then though.

Consider doing a few searches on TO, I suspect the TSP line has a history to it.

+ At one point I built an underframe out of sheet styrene using the width from a Walthers car, lots of trial and error. The trick was to put blocks inside the car shell, then screw the styrene floor in place, Had to beef up the floor with styrene shapes for a frame and bolster, etc.

From the 90s brings back the memories - I had at least one of their products, HTCR sideframes for the latest EMD SDs at the time. Not sure where that set ended up (or what I planned to do with it back then) to be honest!

I believe Train Station Products and Smokey Valley Railroad Products were under the common ownership of a person named Larry but I can't remember his last name. Guys have been trying to get the status of Smokey Valley for a while but I have not seen a definitive answer. Larry had some health issues a year or two ago, one report said he passed away, another said he was recovering.

The former TSP and SV parts are now listed on Train Ready Products website which includes an online store at https://trainreadyproducts.com/ and the BN car is listed https://trainreadyproducts.com/?s=9690

I have no idea if this means the parts are actually available.

Larry is Larry Burt.  Several years ago he did a few handrail stanchion orders for me.  I followed that up with another order which he said he would fulfill, but nothing ever came of it.  Follow-up emails were not answered.  I may have heard that Mr. Burt or his wife had some health issues, but my recollection is really, really hazy.

Wow looks like every missing kit bash part fpor the last 30 years except the BN GE B-unit.

Certainly puts some value into all those Bachman dome cars. Yep, there's some of those in the archives as well.
