Change the #On that F59 to 861 and send  it  to me. That'd be the Hot Rod unit !

IIRC 851 was Metrolink's first unit delivered.
My order is in at the LHS.

Placed an order for 3 TTX F30G flat cars. Very nice.

Any chance of making these into the BN/BNSF MoW cars used for concrete tie service:

Oh Jordan and Jason, you little devils you, you're doing more Pennsy because you know it's one of the most popular roads modeled and the road with the most rolling stock that was seen everywhere... <G> Kudos for doing modern passenger trains too for those who want them. Thanks for doing what sells, but doing it well without duplication of what else is out there.

The yellow TT versions are on my shopping list!  It looks like the later tuscan red has dots on the T.T.X. so it's probably not good for late 70'.

Cheers, Jim

Is the deck on the F30a going to be real wood, or plastic? If plastic, I hope the AMB kit kit for the Bowser F30A can be adapted. Kit No. 399 Wood Deck Set for Bowser F30a 50’ Flat Car, bottom of this page: http://www.laserkit.com/decksho2.htm.

Looks like you've got the correct 2E-F13 trucks for the F30A (Bowser used 2D-F8 trucks for their F30A). F30D that were converted to TOFC use had 2E-F25B trucks. Those look really, really nice, and to the best of my knowledge, neither the 2E-F13 nor the 2E-F25B have been previously available. Kudos!

(I model the SP in 1953, but in that time frame, every modeler is a PRR modeler due to the size of the PRR freight car fleet, and thier prevelance interchanged everywhere across the country - about the only thing I don't have use for are coal hoppers, stock cars, and cars in captive service, like the TOFC cars).

The "wood" deck pieces are actually all separatly installed die cast metal pieces that drop into place on the chassis. We haven't tried this yet, but shouldn't be too difficult to replace with an AMB wood deck. I've attached a photo of an unpainted preproduction sample below.

Jordan,

Great choice and a neat offering!

I am of course in for a few CR MOW paint cars.  Many of these were equipped with the 'replaced bearing' trucks that you guys offer separately - can you offer one or two of the CR MOW cars with those trucks from the factory?  That will be very helpful for those of us modeling the 1980's and '90's.
