Model Railroading > Some photos of a Double Stack on the Grand RoadDate: 11/28/20 09:53 Some photos of a Double Stack on the Grand Road Author: grandroad While I had the camera and lights out I switched the train to the LADNST (Los Angeles to Denver Stack Train). This train has 25 cars and 43 wells, it's consist is 3x2x1 mix of EMD and GE AC traction motor power.

In a room that size you have to choose the layout theme, either switching or railfaning. I chose the latter since the Moffat road is the prototype for the protofreelance layout. I get a kick out of finding a location to photograph and "trying" to make it look like a railfan on the ground took the photo. I am not a fan of helicopter shots.
