Just took mine out of the box and all I can say is wow!!!! I got the NW and Southern and the detail is amazing

Thank you scale trains and keep them coming !!! Maybe another Chessie

Yep, don't think I will buy another Athearn SD40-2. Now if they could only keep the BN SD40-2's in stock!

Those look really nice.  The UP SD40-2 occasionally crossed the D&RGW system on mileage equalizatoin runs but I'm not sure which version they were.  One of these days I may just have to get a pair, but so far ST has been eating up my hobby budget with SD40T-2's.  They just popped a run out by surprise with no warning recently!  Ouch.
