Baldwins dominate the scene
Author: WrongWayMurphy

Probably not much interest here in Baldwins, in a world of models flooded by the likes of
GE ES44's and SD70MAC's, but I delight in the sound of the old diesels and the chant of the
properly timed steam exhaust, hence this BLW scene in my home model railway pike.

Thank you for that nice shot.  I also enjoy modeling the steam to diesel era.  I wish there were more models offered of HO scale small to medium size steam locomotives, as well as early diesels.  Baldwins, Alcos, Limas; it would be nice to see more models of those, but I understand the manufacturers have to produce what will be profitable in the marketplace.

If the locomotive type isn't preceded by a SW-, GP-, VO-, S-, AS-, RS-, C-, SD- or U-, I have no clue what it is, lol!

Nice but, good luck getting water from that tank into your steamer!

Lots of head pressure at the spout.
