Model Railroading > Building BridgesDate: 06/09/21 13:16 Building Bridges Author: CNW I've been working on a layout project since January which has has kept me from building locomotives and rolling stock. The new layout section is a very compressed version of the C&NW line running west out of Winona, Minnesota, I will be modeling two bridges with cut stone walls, and I needed a way to make prototypically correct stone walls. I tried using scraps of PVC ceiling tile (leftover from a home improvement project) which is flat and ridgid but soft enogh to carve with a hobby knife. So far, I'm liking the results.
1. The the current state of the first bridge. 2. Scraps of the PVC tile 3. The prototype for the bridge near milepost 14. Dennis Date: 06/09/21 13:56 Re: Building Bridges Author: DKay Knowing your work Dennis ,I am sure it will be another masterpiece.
