Inside a station on my layout
Author: rapidotrains

I'm about to close up Kingston Station on my HO scale Kingston Sub layout.

Here is a photo of the interior that, shortly, will be a lot more difficult to see!

More photos of the layout construction here: â€‹https://www.facebook.com/KingstonSub/

It would be bitch'n (Calif speak) if there was a way to have a camera inside the station looking out-  Could that be done with fiber optics somehow?

And all along I thought Jason had a sense of humor. Where's the restroom with a dude sitting on a pot with newspaper.

It would have to be a gold toilet.

That should be possible. Mike Burgett's C&O layout has a tiny camera looking out the window of ND Tower (Lynchburg, VA). It feeds a display inside a room he built to match the tower's main interior room - so the member of his operating-session crew who works the tower job actually has a "window" to look out of.

Thanks! This was fun to build. It sure did take a while. I had a floorplan and about six photos.

Not a lot of people were taking overview photos of the interior of this station in the 1980s. I can't understand why not.... :D

I like the Pinto with the porthole window, a fairly rare car- nice catch!

Fresh Cherries made those. I'd like to see them do the more common Pinto variants, and in general see the same paucity of 1970s/1980s vehicle models that Jason has observed.

That'll look great with some of the trains you have made available, including the Turbo!

Doesn't look like this station has any restrooms.

Way back in my memory bank it was sitting until you pointed that out.

It's called a "WASH ROOM" in Canada!
