Hi all, anyone knows if Big Al still in led business, all his ebay ad are gone or show out of stock in a matter that he is not on anymore

Just make them yourself.  Al was not doing anything special.   .060 fiber optic, shrink tube and LED.   You can make oodles of them for what he charged.

That auction site is your friend. Did a quick search for .060 fiber optic  and came up with a lot of auctions with this size and more.

Circuitron 800-8060 is a 10 foot lenght of .060 fiber.

I couldn't believe the amount of people who couldn't put that simple rig together. First another company was charging insane prices, then Al comes along looking like a hero at half those prices. Probably wasn't worth the few hundred bucks a month he made by slowly working towards carpal tunnel.

FWIW, I've had good luck with the Athearn LED kits.  I've used Al's before and they worked well.  The Athearns are similar and are available in ditch or headlight configurations.  As mentioned, you can also make your own.

I was not impressed by his LED's to begin with. And when i reach out to him about the issues, he blocked me. I'd rather take the gamble with the China made stuff than buy from him again. 

Granted, LED's were not the only issues I've had with him. But that's a tale for another day.

If you look closely, that's from 11 years ago.  Now he is employed as a firefighter and how he kept that job after clear grounds to be fired is a story that summarizes all that is wrong with America.
