A Santa Fe time machine!

Two old paint schemes long gone but still in many memories! U23B and a warbonnet F unit at Cleburne Tx. in 71.

Very nice, a little bit of a dust storm in the air?

Your photograph looks great. Very nice scene!

How do you prepare your setup? Looks like you've taken it outside? If so, how do you cope with the sunlight reflections?

Greetings

Since I don't have room in our house for a layout, I build different display boards that will fit in and ontop of my car! Shooting Ho models outside can be just as challenging as the real thing! These scenes are small enough I can angle and move them around to take advantage of the best outdoor sun angles. It's a pain in the butt to move scene boards and locomotives to the locations I shoot without getting SOMETHING broke nearly every time but the photos seem to pay off in the long run and I'm pleased you guys like them.

This scene reminds me of some train watching I used to do in Ft Stockton Tx
back in the early 70s. Great job of putting this together!

Seems the diesels of the subject of these posts were involved in a dust storm.

It WAS a little windy that day with dust blowing thru the air adding to the scene.

Your modus operandi of building dioramas and photographing them outdoors works well! Do you have a backdrop attached to your diorama or are some of the buildings in the background 1:1 scale?
