A Metrolink F59PH from Rapido is ushering the commuters home this evening...

Pretty pleased with this model from Rapido. I'm really pleased with the lighting on this model and the fact that it has not only ground lights, but also step lights! EMD/GMD passenger locomotives like the F40 and F59 have very obvious lighting around the steps and so does this model.

Very nice. I'm curious how they did the step lights as many of us would like to modifiy our models and still be able to remove the shells.

Here is a second paint scheme of the first Metrolink unit, the 851, at dusk in San Bernardino.
I had hoped it would show the ground and step lights but either it is too bright out or they were turned off.

Got several in at my store and they are all very solid and well liked.   A great additon for SoCal modelers.

That picture shows some really outstanding modeling of the cars, the track, and the overall scene.  Great job!

I ordered one direct and one thru my dealer. I really didn't want to miss out.
These are a fav. as spend some cab time in the units when Metrolink started up!

But does the real GO Transit unit have it?

Great looking model, that is my favorite Metrolink scheme. Glad Rapido didn’t have to cancel that one.
