Thermal wire strippers

Has anyone had good experiences using thermal wire strippers such as the one shown on Page 55 of the June 2022 issue of Model Railroader?  I have much work coming up with installation of NWSL powered trucks to replace typical drives and trucks on HO-scale diesels, installation of decoders and installation of Tomar semaphores.  Right now, affordable thermal wire strippers are used items available on eBay.

Probably overkill for model railroad work.

I would agree with you on most things, except for the fine wires attached to NWSL powered trucks and Tomar semaphores.  John
