Did some tie weathering on Tim Dickinson's BN industrial trackage yesterday.

Looks good- is that hand-laid track?   Wood or plastic ties?

Glad to see Work continuing on Tim's layout. Nice work on tie color variations as in the real world.

Micro Engineering code 55 flextrack. Track was painted brown and then followed with Floquil Driftwood Flo-Stain on spreaded ties and then with thinned Floquil Railroad Tie Brown. A Tim Dickinson and Paul Federiconi technique.

That paint is extremely hard to find, but probably any gray or concrete color will work.
