RR Date: 03/14/23 07:19 Re: Seattle Area Model Train Shops? Author: BAB Was just talking to a friend about the old days, back in the 60s what was in and around Seattle. There was even a large scale live steam hobby shop for 7.5" gauge trains at one time among others scattered from the north end of it to beyond the south end. Even a hobby shop by Green Lake, Interlaken Hobby I think. That one was crammed with airplanes and trains ceiling to floor all are memories now.

About an hour from downtown Seattle by bus. 10-15 min headway. TAW TAW Date: 03/15/23 12:23 Re: Seattle Area Model Train Shops? Author: TCnR That's kinda funny, I shopped at the Hobby Shop near Green Lake back in grade school in the 60's. Then we moved near the Hobby Shop at the University 'Village' Mall.
Not that I'm dating myself... Family moved to the San Francisco Peninsula and went through four more hobby shops, all long gone. Pretty tough market. |
