Model Railroading > LF: Athearn HO SP SW1500

I searched around eBay and OfferUp, but no luck, I'm out by Perris CA, thought I'd post here before I called/drove around to find one. I grew up in Burbank on the branch down Chandler, need to find one for my office desk, DCC, and sound preferred. (not blue box)

Hi Peter.   If you completely strike out, I have some coming in  on the next release.   Can always hold one for you.

I finally made it to Smith Brothers today (our visits to Simi Valley are usually jam packed) and got to meet Jason while I was there. If you haven’t been, it’s a fantastic hobby store, brought back memories of the one I used to frequent while growing up in Northern California. Had fun chatting with Jason while he rang up my purchases. I didn’t break the bank, but boy do they have a great selection, I could have blown a paycheck or two in there this afternoon. Thanks Jason, it was great to meet you!

Thank you Nathan!   It was fun meeting you at the shop and chatting.    Always great when an enthusiast goes from an online person to "in person" and one can get to know someone's train story!    Very cool!   Enjoy those containers and hope you get that expedited ATSF train going!

Thanx for the feedback, I haven't been to Smith Brothers since the 90's when I worked on Tampa. I need to run out to the valley at some point anyways and hit up some of the saltwater coral shops.
